Clear agreements. Clear expectations. A better real estate experience.
Buying or selling a home is a significant decision, and having the right representation matters. Before we begin working together, we’ll establish a formal representation agreement that outlines our relationship, responsibilities, and expectations.
These agreements are designed to create clarity and ensure everyone understands how we’ll work together. At North Real Estate, I’ll walk you through the agreement, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before signing.
Buying a Home
Buyer-Broker Agreement
When you’re buying a home, the Buyer-Broker Agreement establishes the relationship between you and North Real Estate.
This agreement is now a standard and required part of the home buying process. Under National Association of REALTORS® policies, real estate professionals working with buyers must have a written agreement in place before touring a home. California law also requires a buyer-broker representation agreement to be in place no later than the execution of a buyer’s offer to purchase real property.
The agreement also explains how my services are compensated and sets clear expectations for both of us. In a typical transaction, the seller customarily pays the buyer’s broker compensation, subject to the terms negotiated and agreed upon as part of the transaction.
Most importantly, it means you have someone in your corner.
My role is to understand what you’re looking for, provide honest advice, protect your interests, and help you make informed decisions throughout the process.
Your Next Move Starts With a Conversation
Before you sign anything, we’ll sit down and talk through the agreement together. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and understand exactly what you’re agreeing to.
No pressure. No surprises. Just clear expectations from the beginning.
Selling Your Home
Listing Agreement
When you’re ready to sell, the Listing Agreement establishes the relationship between you and North Real Estate and gives your Realtor® the authorization to represent your interests in the sale of your property.
The agreement outlines the terms of our relationship, the services I’ll provide, how your property will be marketed, and how compensation will be handled.
From preparing your home for the market and developing the right pricing strategy to marketing, negotiating offers, and navigating the transaction, I’ll be there to guide you through each step.
The goal is simple: position your home strategically and help you achieve the best possible outcome.
A Strategy Built Around Your Goals
Every home and every seller is different. Before we put your property on the market, we’ll discuss your goals, timeline, and options and develop a strategy that makes sense for you.
I’ll explain the Listing Agreement, answer your questions, and make sure you understand the process before moving forward.
Real Estate Agreements Don't Have to Be Complicated
These agreements are an important part of the real estate process, but you don't have to navigate them on your own.
At North Real Estate, my job is to make the process clear, straightforward, and comfortable, from our first conversation through closing.
Whether you're thinking about buying or selling in San Diego, let's start with a conversation about your goals and what comes next.
